Why Organic Teas Are Important

Bees at Work

Choosing organic tea honors the sacred circle of life in which every creature plays a vital role.  When tea leaves are sprayed with harmful chemicals, they no longer provide us with the health benefits that we seek and deplete the soil of the important nutrients needed to sustain the healthy growth of the crops.

These harmful chemicals can also seep through the skin of the workers who harvest the tea, causing deadly cancer and other illnesses, When we avoid harmful pesticides, we also support the health of the honeybees that work tirelessly to pollinate our flowers, trees, and other plants, which in turn provides the environment with clean, oxygen-rich air. Choosing organic products means choosing healthy living and well-being for every creature, big and small as well as ourselves.

Fair Trade

The tea leaves and herbs we use are sourced only from farms and tea estates that are certified Fair Trade because ensuring the health and wellbeing of others should extend to the workers around the world.

Fair Trade is a system of certification that aims to ensure a set of standards are met in the production and supply of a product or ingredient  For farmers and workers, Fair Trade means workers' rights, safer working conditions, and fairer pay. For shoppers it means high quality, ethically produced products.
